Snowbird Oktoberfest
A Wasatch Front tradition for over 50 years. Live music, authentic German food, craft beer, family-friendly activities, and stunning mountain views. Runs every Saturday and Sunday through October 11, and was also open on Labor Day, September 7.

Fairs & Festivals
Early fall brings community festivals across the Wasatch Front. From Snowbird Oktoberfest and the Utah State Fair to the Greek Festival and Cornbelly's, there is plenty to do as summer winds down.
- Snowbird Oktoberfest: Weekends through Oct 11. Live music, German food, craft beer, mountain views
- Utah State Fair: Sep 10-20, Utah State Fairpark. Carnival, livestock, live entertainment. On now through September 20
- Peach Days: Sep 11-12, Downtown Brigham City. Utah's longest-running festival: parade, carnival, car show, fresh peaches
- Salt Lake Greek Festival: Sep 11-13, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, SLC. Greek food, music, folk dancing
- Cornbelly's: Sep 21-Oct 31, Thanksgiving Point, Lehi. Corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and fall family fun

The school year is underway along the Wasatch Front, but the farmers markets are still going strong. Stock up on late-season produce while supporting local growers.

SLC Downtown Farmers Market
Utah's premier farmers market runs every Saturday morning at Pioneer Park with local produce, artisan goods, food vendors, and live music. Peak-season peaches, corn, tomatoes, and melons carry well into September, and the market runs through October 24.

Alpine Loop Scenic Drive
American Fork / Provo Canyon
One of Utah's most beautiful drives, the Alpine Loop winds through Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest with stunning mountain views, wildflowers, and access to trailheads.
Silver Lake Boardwalk
Big Cottonwood Canyon
An easy, family-friendly 1-mile boardwalk loop around a beautiful alpine lake. Great for young kids, photographers, and anyone who wants to experience the high country without a strenuous hike.
